Summer Day Camp Leader
We are seeking a caring, joyful, healthy, creative, physically fit individual to work with a group of children ages 5 to 11 years

(This position is also optional during the upcoming Spring Break, from March 16 to 27. Mention your availability upon applying, if interested.)
Job Details
Available 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

8:30am to 4:30pm

Some overtime may be required

Wage is $22 to $24 an hour depending on experience.

Candidate must be 19+ to be eligible for position.

Position could extend into a full time role with health benefits.

Candidate must be a Canadian citizen or hold a Permanent Resident status.
Job Duties

Program planning
-
Enhancing and supervising play experiences from a variety of materials
-
Providing positive guidance
-
Leading art and science activities
-
Gardening
-
Field trips to the beach and nearby playgrounds

Maintaining a clean safe environment.
Job Duration
Full Time Contract Position (11 weeks)

Starting Monday, June 22nd, with children arriving full time on Thursday, June 25th
-
Concluding Friday, September 4th.
FOR AVAILABLE CANDIDATES:
Full Time, Spring Break, Contract Position also available from March 16 to 27.
Job Requirements

Responsible Adult Certification (or willingness to obtain, on candidates own time prior to commencing employment)

Cost for RA Certification covered by employer​
